HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 27 (ACN) Ana Maria Mari Machado, vice president of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP), paid tribute today to the Founding Father of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kencal Atatürk, as part of the official parliamentary visit of a Cuban delegation to that nation.
On Twitter, Mari Machado referred that during the tribute she expressed Cuba's desire to strengthen ties of friendship between both nations in the framework of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
On the same social network, Cuban MP also described as fraternal the working meeting with the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Cuba in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
The official parliamentary visit to Turkey, which began Monday, is aimed at fostering relations for the benefit of the people of both countries.
