Only one injured person remains hospitalized due to Saratoga accident

HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 20 (ACN) The Cuban health ministry (MINSAP by its Spanish acronym) reported today that of the 99 people injured in the Saratoga hotel accident, only one remains hospitalized at the Hermanos Ameijeiras Clinical Surgical Hospital.

The agency's statement adds that 51 of the patients injured in the accident have already been discharged from the hospital, while 47 died.

According to MINSAP, of the number of deaths, 25 were men, 22 women, four children, one pregnant woman and one foreigner from Spain.

MINSAP reiterates its gratitude to all the agencies, organizations and people in general, who have supported the actions carried out with the patients and their families, as well as the concern shown for the hospitalized patients.
