HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 6 (ACN) Scientists from organizations and institutions in the provinces of Havana and Pinar del Rio will participate this Thursday in the 2nd National Meeting of Science, Technology and Innovation (CTI) Observatories in Cuba, to be hosted by the National Sugar Training Center (CNCA) of the AZCUBA Sugar Group.
Liobel Pérez Hernández, CNCA Institutional Communicator, told ACN that those attending the meeting will share their experiences to promote the integration of their efforts and results regarding knowledge information and discuss indicators for measuring CTI activity, its social perception and the good practices of their centers in support of public management and the business system.
Among other events, the conference's program includes a lecture by PhD Yudayly Stable Rodríguez, an advisor and senior researcher at the Institute of Scientific and Technological Information (IDICT) and the presentation Surveillance and Intelligence as tools for innovation, by María Aurora Soto Balbón, a Doctor of Science with the Cuban Academy of Science.
Also scheduled are panels by the laboratories of the Ministries of Labor and Social Security and of Public Health and one on the use of science for the Food Sovereignty and Nutrition Education plan.
The 1st National Meeting of Science, Technology and Innovation Observatories in Cuba was held on March 11 at Havana’s International Conference Center.
