HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 31 (ACN) Urban and sustainable mobility in the capital city will be the focus today of the 1st Local Development Fair’s scientific program, supported by the presence of Cuban higher education centers in the panel University-Business-Local Development, coordinated by the Center for Managerial Technique Studies of the University of Havana (UH).
A number of these institutions will present their projects and evaluations regarding the results achieved by our communities and their environmental, social and institutional transformations, as part of a program that also includes discussions of projects related to local sustainable recreational tourism, construction work, decoration and other topics.
Wednesday’s agenda featured a keynote lecture on economic growth and local development by Juan Triana Cordoví, a professor with the Cuban Economy Center of the University of Havana, as well as a round-table discussion on electromobility with the participation of the Ministries of Transportation and of Energy and Mines and the Havana Electricity Enterprise.
The theme for this 1st Local Development Fair Havana 2022 is We all count in local development.
