New Switzerland-Cuba Direct Flight Announced

HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 15 (acn) The Swiss airlines Edelweiss will incorporate and additional direct flight between the city of Zurich and Havana, starting from April, 2015, announced Cuba’s Tourism Ministry (MINTUR) on Tuesday.

The route, which will have two frequencies a week, will make it possible to increase the arrival of visitors of Switzerland and other nations of Europe in Havana, and from the capital of the island to other destinations of the Caribbean country, consider experts of that Ministry.

Edelweiss, name of Switzerland’s national flower and main airlines of tourist trips in that European country, distributes over 1.3 million passengers a year in over 40 nations and offers multi-destination options.
