Representatives of MSMEs Attend Management and Coordination Meeting

Manzanillo, Cuba, March 16 (ACN) Over one hundred representatives of the recently created micro, small and medium companies are taking part at the First Territorial Encounter of New Actors in Cuban Economy underway till Thursday in the coastal city of Manzanillo, eastern Granma province.

The meeting aims at improving government management structures in tune with local economic and political context and the articulation among different private businesses.

The meeting allowed participants to share experiences about their companies’ performance and to exchange with experts from the Cuban Chamber of Foreign Commerce and the Central Bank.

The business people were briefed about investment and foreign cooperation, they also learned details about financial and credit policies and activity.

The meeting is being attended by coordinators of comprehensive development platforms and researchers from eastern universities along with the presidents of the National Economists Associations from three provinces.
