HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 1 (ACN) This December 31, another solidarity shipment arrived in Cuba from Nicaragua, with the purpose of contributing to the COVID-19 confrontation in the island-nation.
According to Prensa Latina news agency, this Thursday, Nicaraguan Vice President Rosario Murillo informed that the ship Augusto César Sandino will arrive in the afternoon to the Caribbean nation with another donation of foodstuffs.
The initiative is associated with the complementary, uninterrupted and brotherly ties between Cuba and Nicaragua, which also include medicines and vaccines.
Last December 5, Nicaragua sent to the island the third cargo of this year, with 50 containers of foodstuffs such as rice, beans and coffee.
Likewise, in 2021, Cuba has received other solidarity shipments from several countries such as Venezuela, China, Russia, Vietnam, Bolivia, among others.
