Cuba supported the just causes of the world, foreign minister affirms

HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 29 (ACN) Cuban foreign minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla said today on Twitter that Cuba supported the world's just causes during the year that is almost over.

Rodriguez Parrilla ratified that in 2021 Cuban foreign policy advanced in the fulfillment of its objectives, and stressed that the nation accompanied the multilateral agenda on issues of major interest such as the fight against climate change, the defense of International Law and the condemnation of aggressions against peace.

The head of Cuban diplomacy recently assured that international conditions are propitious for Cuba's foreign policy to expand to its full potential next year, and explained that 2022 will be "difficult and full of challenges because the economy is not recovering immediately".

In that sense, he affirmed that the Caribbean island will continue "to overcome the blockade, no matter what the U.S. government does. It is not in their hands to decide Cuba's destiny".
