HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 28 (ACN) Cuban foreign minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla said today that 2021 has been a difficult year, however, Cuba is not alone.
In a message shared on Twitter, the Cuban diplomat noted that in this year that is almost over, support for Cuba, international solidarity and the rejection of the U.S. policy were redoubled.
Rodriguez Parrilla emphasized that 2021 represented for Cuba tensions due to the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.
In addition, he detailed that an "additional tightening" of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on Cuba was evidenced, as well as a greater number of destabilization operations aimed at damaging our internal process and citizen peace.
Although this year has seen a tightening of the blockade in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, international solidarity has been present and friends of Cuba have sent their support in form of donations of medical supplies, food and other basic necessities.
Likewise, the cruel and genocidal policy imposed on Cuba has been denounced in different international scenarios and its elimination has been advocated.
