HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 23 (ACN) Cuban education minister, Ena Elsa Velazquez Cobiella, visited early childhood education institutions in Havana to check on the repair work being carried out in them.
On Twitter, she informed that on Monday she visited kindergartens in Playa municipality, and on Satuday, elementary schools in La Lisa.
On November 15, the school year resumed in Cuba, with the incorporation of students from preschool to fifth grade.
According to a statement issued by the ministry of education, most students and workers in the sector have been vaccinated against COVID-19, and all schools are strictly complying with the hygienic-sanitary measures to avoid contagion.
