Havana, Nov 17 (ACN) During a meeting on Wednesday with India’s ambassador to Havana, Sarvesvaran Janakiraman, the Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez stressed friendship links between the two nations and the mutual will to further expand bilateral relations.
Cuba and India established diplomatic relations in January 1960 based on mutual respect, collaboration and friendship.
Bruno Rodriguez also met on Wednesday with Peruvian ambassador Guido Octavio, who will soon conclude his mission in Cuba.
“I met with the ambassador of Peru Guido Octavio Toro Cornejo. I reiterated our willingness to keep strengthening traditional links of friendship and cooperation between our two peoples and governments,” wrote Rodriguez on Twitter.
Cuba and Peru established diplomatic relations in July 1972.
