HAVANA, Cuba, Sept 25 (acn) The head of the Institutional Communication Group of Cubana de Aviacion S.A., Walfredo Riveron, told the ACN news agency in Thursday that the island's flag airline will reintroduce direct flights between Cuba and Costa Rica on November 16.
He added that the new itinerary of the Cuban airlines is part of actions aimed at strengthening tourist exchanges between the two nations and incorporate these direct flights to San Jose that stopped on August, 2008.
The route will have two frequencies a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, with departures from Havana in the morning and a duration of two hours and thirty minutes, pointed out the official, adding that these flights will be carried out by Antonov 158 aircrafts, with a capacity for 85 passengers.
