Havana, Sept 9 (ACN) Cuba and Namibia closed the 5th Session of their Joint Working Team by signing an official document outlining the main aspects to deepen bilateral between the two nations.
Namibia’s deputy foreign relations and cooperation minister, Jenelly Matundu, and Cuba’s deputy Foreign Trade and Investment minister Deborah Rivas gave the keynote lectures at the close of the event.
The two officials expressed their governments’ willingness to keep boosting cooperation and trade and they agreed that both countries enjoy excellent relations.
The session also counted on the participation of executives in the areas of urban and rural development, sports, culture, mining and energy, justice, industry and commerce. Cuban participants explained about the island’s foreign investment opportunities.
The sessions of the Namibia-Cuba Joint Working Team constitute and instrument to implement and follow up on different accords reached by both parties and to explore new opportunities for cooperation and trade.
