Vice-president of Panama Describes her Visit to Cuba as Productive

Vice-president of Panama Describes her Visit to Cuba as ProductiveHAVANA, Cuba, Sept 18 (acn) The Vice-president (VP) and Foreign Minister (FM) of the Republic of Panama, Isabel de Saint Malo de Alvarado, assessed on Thursday as very productive and beautiful her official visit to Cuba, during which mutual relations were strengthened.

This stay is one of rapprochement of bonds between Panama and Cuba, which exist for a long time now, since we're two countries that have been sisters and friends, pointed out the Panamanian Vice-president while touring the School of Solidarity with Panama for disabled children, located in Havana's Boyeros municipality.
In her statements to the press, Saint Malo said she was very impressed by and sensitive to this center and its children and teachers, after concluding a tour of the school.
After her arrival in Havana on Thursday, the Panamanian VP and FM began an intense program of visits to places of interest and contacts with Cuban authorities, after which she will return to her country in the evening.
Cuba's presence in the Summit of the Americas could be considered an achievement of Latin American and Caribbean nations, the majority of which have been increasingly declaring themselves to be against Cuba's exclusion from these summits, something that Washington obstinately maintains as part of its old anti-Cuban hostility.
