HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 25 (acn The Association of Sugar Technicians of Cuba (ATAC) plans to establish cooperation agreements with Costa Rican and Guatemalan related organizations in order to contribute to the professional development of their members, as announced on Monday in this capital.
In an exclusive interview with ACN, before traveling on Monday heading a Cuban delegation to the 36 th Convention of the Association of Sugar Technicians of Mexico, Eduardo Lamadrid, president of the ATAC, said that the results of this experience with their Mexican counterpart are positive.
A group of 11 national experts will present at the meeting 13 of the 19 papers approved by its Organizing Committee and at its corresponding exhibition scheduled for August 26-29 in Boca del Rio, in the state of Veracruz.
In June, Cuban and Mexican specialists carried out in Havana a technical meeting on the need to lay the foundations of a sustainable, efficient, diversified and flexible sugar agribusiness.
