Association Cuba Cooperation France asks Joe Biden to overturn inhumane measures against the island

HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 26 (ACN) The association Cuba Cooperation France (CubaCoop), asked today the president elect of the United States, Joe Biden, to eliminate the inhumane and criminal measures imposed on the Caribbean nation by the Donald Trump administration, Prensa Latina reported.

According to CubaCoop, the people of the planet should unite their voice in the demand to stop the attempt to choke the economy of the Caribbean nation to make life even more difficult for Cuban families, the article added.

Before leaving office on January 20, Trump continues adding hostile measures to the 120 established since 2019 to attack Cuba, the association denounced in reference to the recent flight ban on two planes carrying humanitarian cargo and the hindering of family remittances, since the closure of the 407 Western Union payment sites.

The association's call joins that of personalities, organizations and citizens of the world, who urge the democrat politician Biden to retake the Havana-Washington rapprochement initiated in December 2014 by Barack Obama.

CubaCoop and its members are strong critics within the French society of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba for six decades, a policy that in the last 20 years they have faced with dozens of cooperation projects.
