Cuban expert participates in virtual meeting of radiological and nuclear regulatory agencies

HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 3 (ACN) Engineer Rosbell Bosch Robaina, who is only 37 years old, represented Cuba in the 25th Plenary Meeting of the Ibero-American Forum of Radiological and Nuclear Regulatory Bodies (FORO), a virtual meeting in which professionals from 10 countries attended. On this occasion and for the fourth time, Cuba assumed the presidency of the FORO, a mission that turns around all members and changes annually in July according to the alphabetical order, the young expert explained to the Cuban News Agency.

The first opportunity for Cuba to assume this responsibility occurred in 2001, the second in 2005 and the third in 2012, when it coincided with the 15th Anniversary of the FORO, Bosch Robaina added, who graduated in 2007 from Engineering in Nuclear and Energy Technologies, at the Institute of Technologies and Applied Sciences.
Cuba had the support of representatives from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Spain, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay, the head of the Nuclear Safety Directorate of the Environmental Regulation and Safety Office concluded.
