HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 2 (ACN) Roberto Morales Ojeda, Cuban deputy prime minister, highlighted on Twitter on Tuesday the resume of the 2019-2020 school year, postponed last March after the detection of the first cases of COVID-19 in Cuba.
Morales Ojeda referred to the commitment of complying with the health measures to avoid the contagion of the infectious disease, and assured that the unity of the family, the school and the community will guarantee the success.
On September 1st, the students returned to the classrooms in most of the national territory, with the exception of Havana and some municipalities in other provinces affected by COVID-19.
For the students who did not join the classrooms on Tuesday, a television program has been scheduled to consolidate contents through the Educative Channel, until returning to the educational centers is possible
