In addition to Maduro's greeting and recognition of the legacy of the process that is now 61 years old, Caracas highlighted the figure of Fidel Castro, the historic leader of the revolution in the largest of the Antilles, and recent events in the Caribbean country, such as the new Constitution, the result of a national debate and a popular consultation.
The South American country's government also reiterated its support for Cuba and the ties of brotherhood between the two nations.
When the U.S. empire, in its frustration and failure, attacks in unison the Cuban Revolution and the Bolivarian Revolution, the Venezuelan people reaffirm their vital commitment of brotherhood and solidarity with the people of Cuba, in the common cause of independence, the unity of Our America and the struggle for a fraternal and humane world, as dreamed by Bolivar and Martí, Chávez and Fidel, the text underlined.
