Cuban Communist Youth Organization to celebrate its Plenary Session

HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 27 (acn) The 10th Plenary of the Young Communists League (UJC by its Spanish acronym) National Committee, to start today in Havana, will pay tribute to the Cuban Revolution, which will celebrate its 61st anniversary next January 1st.

The meeting will take place at the Cojímar Convention Center, east Havana, and will be the last one of ordinary character before the 11th UJC Congress, convened for April 2020 with the slogan "Your future, today.¨
It will be an excellent opportunity to thoroughly assess compliance with the agreements of the previous Congress, held in July 2015, and what has been done since then, Maykel Perez, member of the UJC National Bureau, told ACN.
These have been intense years of uninterrupted work to consolidate the inner and outside structures and operation of the organization, Perez added.
