Cuba and China to strengthen cooperation in judicial issuesHAVANA, Dec 10 (ACN) Cuba and China agreed to strengthen cooperation in judicial issues through mutual exchanges, collaboration in the computerization of judicial processes and the training of specialists in the law field.

As part of the Global Lawyers' Forum, opened this Monday up to Wednesday, the ministers of justice of China, Fu Zhenghua, and Cuba, Oscar Silvera, ratified the position of their respective governments.
The meeting which takes place in the southern city of Guangzhou, in Guangdong, with attendance of some 800 representatives of the legal field from 57 countries, is aimed at serving as a platform to deepen exchanges and broaden cooperation in this area.
The Cuban minister's agenda includes meetings with other authorities from the Chinese sector and countries present at the event.
The forum will focus on the connection of legal services with the Belt and Road initiative, science and technology, international trade and dispute resolution in that context, and cross-border investments, mergers and acquisitions, among other issues.
This is the first time that China hosts the Forum, organized by the All China Lawyers Association (ACLA), with the intention of promoting national achievements in the implementation of law.
