Cuba accuses U.S. of using pretexts to close diplomatic missionsHAVANA, Cuba, Nov 28 (ACN) Cuba accused the United States today of implementing an irrational series of measures to tighten the blockade and lies seeking pretexts to close their respective diplomatic missions.

The Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, warned on Twitter that the possible closure of the embassies, opened in 2015, is contrary to the desire of both people, the Cubans living in the United States and the international community.
This Tuesday, Rodriguez Parrilla described as illicit the actions of the U.S. diplomatic representation in Havana, backed by the Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, showing Washington's meddling interests in Cuba.
He said Pompeo calls on his embassy in Havana to "meddle in the internal affairs of a sovereign country and Cuba will not allow it.
These activities seek to undermine the Cuban constitutional order, violate the Vienna Convention, the agreement to re-establish relations and Cuban and U.S. laws, Cuban diplomat concluded.
