Cuba attends ALBA-TCP Political CouncilHAVANA, Cuba, Nov. 14 (ACN) Ana Teresita Gonzalez, Cuban Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, heads the Cuban delegation that will participate in the Political Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the People of Our America - People's Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), in Managua, Nicaragua.

The Cuban representation already in Nicaragua will once again raise its voice to "ratify our strong condemnation of the coup d'etat against President @evoespueblo and express our solidarity with the #Bolivia de los pueblos originarios", the Cuban viceminister posted on Twitter.
This meeting will discuss the crisis unleashed in Bolivia after the coup d'etat against President Evo Morales.
It is expected to denounce the disruption of the constitutional order in the Andean-Amazonian country, after President Evo Morales resigned his post this Sunday under pressure from the military high command.
On November 11, in an official statement, ALBA-TCP condemned "the infamous coup d'etat in the Plurinational State of Bolivia" and demanded "respect for the civil rights, freedom and physical integrity of President Evo Morales. The Alliance calls for the defense of Bolivia," Venezuelan FM Jorge Arreaza published on Twitter.
The countries constituting this regional integration mechanism are: Cuba, Venezuela, Antigua and Barbuda, Bolivia, Dominica, Nicaragua, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada and Saint Kitts and Nevis.
