HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 8 (acn) Vice President of the Council of Ministers, Ulises Rosales del Toro met on Wednesday in Havana with Niger’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, African Integration and Nigeriens Living Abroad, Ibrahim Yacoubou who is on an official visit to the island.
Both leaders congratulated each other for the excellent bilateral ties and ratified their commitment to continue strengthening in favor of the respective peoples. They also discussed issues related to the international scene.
Also present were Niger’s ambassador to Cuba, Aminatou Batoure Gaoh; Technical Counselor of the Ministry, Rahimou Adamou Abdoul Rahamane; Director of Europe, America and Oceania, Issa Tankari Boubacar and the Director of Information, Documentation and Diplomatic Archives, Garba hanouberi Rainatou.
The Cuban delegation included the Director a.i of Sub-Saharan Africa, Sidenio Acosta Aday and other representative of the Foreign Ministry.
Cuba and Peru signed a MOU on cooperation in tourism, which was considered a significant bilateral move in the sector, according to the Cuban Foreign Ministry’s website.
Hua Xin, Asian nation's ambassador to Cuba, described the launch of the Cuadernos de Nuestra America (Notebooks of Our America) magazine, a special edition commemorating 65 years of bilateral relations, as a demonstration of the theoretical crystallization of the special friendship between China and Cuba.
