BioCubaFarma calls for the 5th International Congress IDIFARMA 2023

 HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 20 (ACN) The Group of the Biotechnological and Pharmaceutical Industries of Cuba (BioCubaFarma) and the Center for Research and Development of Medicines (CIDEM by its Spanish acronym) are calling for participation in the 5th International Congress on Research, Development and Technological Innovation in the Biopharmaceutical Industry (IDIFARMA 2023).

The event, to be held May 23-26 at the Havana Convention Center, will provide the national and international scientific community with a space to socialize experiences, ideas and projections related to research, development, innovation, regulatory aspects and commercialization in the biopharmaceutical sector, according to the congress website.

The event will be an opportunity to arrange contacts and professional and academic exchanges, as well as to establish forms of national and international cooperation between institutions, companies and organizations, which will increase the competitiveness of the national biopharmaceutical industry, its products, projects and services.

The general topics to be addressed are: pharmaceutical development and innovation; quality management system and regulatory affairs; negotiations, commercialization and industrial property; university-business link; human capital management; information technologies; and logistic operations in the biopharmaceutical industry.

In addition, the 2nd Workshop on Cancer: an overview from academia to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry will be held, as well as antimicrobial resistance; new neurotherapeutic approaches; natural products at the service of health.
IDIFARMA 2023 will feature plenary lectures, oral communications, round tables and electronic posters, as well as an Exhibition Fair.
