HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 20 (acn) Cuban President Raul Castro received on Saturday afternoon his Argentinean counterpart Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, who is in Cuba on an official visit.
During the friendly meeting both leaders spoke of the excellent relations between the two countries and ratified their willingness to continue strengthening them. They also address topics of the regional and international agenda, especially the integration process underway in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Fernandez was accompanied by Héctor Timerman, Foreign Minister, and Juliana Isabel Marino, Argentinean ambassador to Cuba.
On the Cuban part were Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez and Cuban ambassador to Buenos Aires Orestes Perez
