Cuban people can overcome anything thanks to its unity, says Diaz-CanelHAVANA, Cuba, Feb 4 (ACN) #FuerzaCuba. Neither #Tornado, nor #Meteorito, nor #Bloqueo. The people of #Cuba can defeat everything because they face everything together, said Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, president of the Councils of State and Ministers, today on Twitter.

The president evoked José Martí, Cuban National Hero, who said that "The homeland is joy, pain and heaven for all" and in another tweet he wrote that Martí taught Cubans that "the only autograph worthy of a man is the one he leaves written with his works".
Cuba's best children are writing theirs on the souls of the people affected by the tornado, whom they help. #We areCuba #YoVotoYes, Díaz-Canel said, emphasizing solidarity with those affected by the weather phenomenon that caused deaths and extensive material damage on the night of Sunday, January 27.
We can't get tired of explaining to people, of giving them all the necessary information, of listening to their problems, of talking to them about the magnitude of the damage and the effort being made in each of the Havana neighborhoods affected by the devastating tornado to minimize the damage in the shortest time possible.
On Saturday night, President Miguel Diaz-Canel insisted on these ideas during another meeting of the Council of Ministers to channel solutions and unlock others, as well as to speed up as much as possible the procedures that in many cases the population needs to carry out.
The listing of affectations has to be family by family, case by case," he stressed, "so that we can know if people have where to cook, where to sleep, or if they already have electricity, water supply and telephone services.
There is an urgent need to better organize the donations that are being taken to the communities in a personal capacity, so that everyone can benefit, especially those who have suffered the most damage, he said.
