HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 25 (ACN) Cuba's support for Nicolás Maduro and the Bolivarian and Chavista Revolution is and will remain invariable, wrote Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla on Thursday in Twitter.
Minister Rodriguez rejected the coup d'état that is taking place in the South American country and the interventionism.
With its irresponsible, provocative and violating actions of International Law, the United States threatens the peace and stability of Venezuela and the region, he said in his statement on Twitter.
The Cuban Foreign Minister also stated in other Twitter publications that "the sovereign will of the Venezuelan people will prevail over imperialist intervention. History will judge those who encourage and recognize coup usurpation.
The pronouncement reaffirms Cuba's position on the situation, and constitutes an endorsement of the declarations of the President of the Cuban Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel, who expressed that the Island condemns and strongly rejects the attempt to impose, through a coup d'état, a servile government to the United States in Venezuela.
Díaz-Canel ratified the invariable solidarity with the government of constitutional President Nicolás Maduro.
