HAVANA, Cuba, May 28 (ACN) Salvador Valdés Mesa, First Vice-President of the Councils of State and Ministers will meet this Tuesday with members of the Cuban medical brigade in Eswatini, on the concluding day of his visit to this southern country on the African continent.
The first vice-president of Cuba held conversations the day before this Tuesday with King Mswati III, who received him in what was described as a friendly and warm encounter, according to reports from the Prensa Latina news agency.
Sources of the delegation informed that the meeting took place in the Royal Palace of Lozitha, near Mbabane, the capital of the Kingdom, in the culmination of a day that included meetings with other high authorities of this Southern African nation.
Valdés Mesa traveled to Eswatini (former Swaziland) from South Africa, where he participated in the swearing-in ceremony as president of Cyril Ramaphosa, and developed a program of meetings with the highest authorities, headed by the head of state and government.
At the end of his stay in the kingdom, the First Vice-President will continue his African journey through Ethiopia.
