Cuba contributes to global orthopedics despite US blockade, Mexican expert assertedHavana, Oct 4 (ACN) Cuba contributes a lot worldwide in Orthopedics and Traumatology and despite the blockade imposed by successive U.S. governments for almost 60 years, there is international recognition of medicine and particularly in this branch, Dr. Sergio Quintero Hernandez, president of the Mexican Federation of Schools of Orthopedics and Traumatology, said in Havana.

Quintero Hernandez heads the 4th Cuba-Mexico binational meeting organized as part of the Congress, which is attended by representatives from all over the country and renowned professors from Switzerland, Germany, Puerto Rico, Spain, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Colombia, among others.
