HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 25 (ACN) Cuban President Raul Castro officially welcomed Honduras's President Juan Orlando Hernandez Alvarado, who is on a state visit to the island.
During official talks, the two heads of state addressed the pace of bilateral relations between their countries and ratified their will to keep strengthening political, economic, and commercial and cooperation links. They also exchanged views on the international agenda.
The Honduran President was accompanied by his Foreign Relations and Cooperation secretary Maria Dolores Agüero; Economic Development Secretary Arnaldo Castillo; State Secretary for Health Edna Yolani; State Secretary for Tourism Emilio Silvestri, among other members of the Honduran delegation.
Raul Castro was accompanied by Foreign Trade and Investment minister Rodrigo Malmierca; Tourism minister Manuel Marrero and by acting foreign minister Marcelino Medina, as well as by deputy health minister Marcia Cobas and the general director for Latin America at the Cuban Foreign Ministry Carlos R. Zamora.
