A new theme park will be added to the Jardines del Rey tourist destination, in the north of the province of Ciego de Avila, another of the numerous proposals and attractions of this important Cuban pole.

   The companies Palmares S.A., Transtur, Marlin and Caracol, at the proposal of the Superior Organization of Business Management Cubasol, are participating in the projects for AquaRey, and through this link it is expected to offer interesting maritime experiences to vacationers, different from the conventional tourist packages, which will allow them to enjoy offers beyond the comfort of the hotel.

   Yeein Jiménez Díaz, director of Operations at the Palmares S.A. extra-hotel branch, said that the initiative will include two existing products: the dolphinarium in Cayo Guillermo and the boat adventure.

   According to its managers, the AquaRey project will have a wider scope due to the construction of an aquatic park, excursions to Cayo Montero, the practice of snorkeling, kayaking, aquatic bicycles and other nautical activities, dinners and parties on the beach, an area for the observation of marine species and a hammock experience (combination of canopy and traditional hammocks).

   The purpose is to market these experiences as a single product, a trend that today dominates the international tourism sector. (ACN)
