The Rueda Hotel, an emblematic hotel in the city of Ciego de Avila, owned by the Cubanacan chain, has tempered its services during the COVID-19 pandemic to meet the needs of its guests and the population of this city.
Ailyn Coello Manzano, general director of the facility, informed Cuban News Agency that the reception of domestic and foreign guests continues, in compliance with the hygienic-sanitary measures aimed at preventing the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes this infectious disease, and preserving the health of the hotel and its guests.
Coello Manzano explained that in view of the low tourist occupancy rate, investments were made to improve comfort and image.
Among the benefited areas are the restaurant and the leisure area located on the second level, for which air conditioning was approved.
The four-star facility, which is ideal for families, groups and incentives, has 30 rooms located on the two upper levels and arranged in a way that respects its original design while meeting the new standards for living space.
The unique building, founded in 1920 and located in the central boulevard of the city, hosted prestigious political, cultural and business figures of the time. (Anabel Ávila Deulofeu, ACN)
