Ron Santiago de Cuba™, produced by Corporación Cuba Ron and distributed by the joint venture Ron Santiago S.A., was relaunched in Cuba and Europe this summer, with a growth in its portfolio.
Carlos Rafael Soto Castellón, First Vice President of Corporación Cuba Ron S.A., stated that the Santiago de Cuba brand is moving into a higher stage, in which the new image of its portfolio enhances the original elements of a Cuban product, with strong cultural and traditional roots.
The relaunch includes four variants: in Cuba, the 11-year-old Extra Añejo will be available from this month, the 12-year-old Extra Añejo from July, and Carta Blanca and Añejo at the end of the summer.
The product has been given a new design and will be taken around the world for tasting, said Luca Cesarano, CEO of Ron Santiago S.A., who stressed that the beverage conveys the culture, tradition and heritage of 150 years of wisdom of the Cuban Rum Masters like no other.
The Ron Santiago de Cuba™ range is bottled at an alcohol content of 40 percent, with the exception of Añejo, following Cuban standards, all aging age statements refer to the youngest liquid used in the blend. (ACN)
