Air Canada and Edelweiss airlines will resume their flights to Cuba this summer, after being interrupted since the beginning of the year due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19.
In the coming months of June and July, Air Canada will have departures from Toronto and Montreal, according to a company communiqué on its official web page and if the epidemiological situation is not complicated, it will include in its itinerary the tourist resorts of Varadero and Cayo Coco, popular sun and beach destinations in Cuba; and with which it will have a weekly connection as from July 3.
Swiss airline Edelweiss also announced the restart of its operations as of next July, with direct flights to Havana and Varadero from Zurich, with a note on its official website.
It plans between four and nine direct flights to the Cuban capital in the months of July and October, which may increase their frequency for the last quarter of the year, with another nine in November, December and early 2022. (ACN)
