The Palacio de Los Corredores hotel, located in the San Francisco Square in Old Havana, is ready for its opening, according to the Gaviota Tourism Group.
With a five-star category, 56 rooms, 18 of them overlooking the square, two suites with independent terraces and four junior suites, it also has multi-purpose rooms, free Wi-Fi service in all areas and rooms with adequate conditions for disabled guests.
It will also have gastronomic services in a buffet restaurant, a lobby bar and a point of sale on the terrace and offers the possibility of holding meetings or events in two rooms equipped with the latest technology, and for moments of relaxation will operate a mini-spa with massage beds, Balinese beds and whirlpool tubs, among other attractions.
The Palacio de Los Corredores hotel takes its name from the Customs brokers who had their offices in the building, of eclectic architecture built in 1953, although its façade has a baroque style appearance.
The projects to convert the building into a comfortable five-star hotel were in charge of professionals from the Office of the City Historian, who took into account the harmony with the historical characteristics and the value of its surroundings (ACN).
