   The Spanish hotel company Meliá Hotels International continues with the construction of its new hotel in Cuba's Ancón peninsula, located in the municipality of Trinidad, in the province of Santi Spiritus.

   According to Francisco Camps, director in Cuba of the company's official Twitter profile, the new Meliá Trinidad Peninsula hotel will have 401 five-star rooms located by the sea and with excellent technological features.

   The official website of the Meliá chain explains that the new hotel will have a varied gastronomic offer, with the most traditional Cuban and international cuisine, as well as the advantages of its privileged location, due to its proximity to the city of Trinidad, a World Cultural Heritage Site.

   Meliá Hotels International Cuba reiterates its commitment as a safe destination in the face of the COVID-19 and in this regard, Maite Artieda, director of Communication and Marketing of the company, said that "the largest island of the Antilles has always been considered a reliable place, but the management carried out in relation to the health contingency has been exemplary in the global context".
