The Almirante Hotel, the first sun and beach resort of the Cubanacán group in the east of Cuba with a five-star category, will be the new attraction of the Guardalavaca resort that will give prestige to the tourist destination Holguín as of 2021.

The new facility, in its final phase of completion, has a rationalist architectural style, with a tendency to use straight lines and pure volumes as a characteristic, making the "Almirante" a modern building that combines attractive open spaces and integrates interior and exterior sites as large areas of beautiful green areas.

Gipsy Hernández Perdomo, deputy general manager of the hotel facility, explained to the ACN that this building will have 514 rooms distributed in six blocks that open in a staggered way in the shape of a horseshoe with visuals towards the beach.

Out of these, five are suites, 11 are mini-suites, four are for the disabled and 53 will be located on the Royal Floor with a higher category, higher standard and butler service, she explained

With all-inclusive service, the board said the new hotel will have several restaurants, four of them specialized and one with buffet service and will have at its highest point a viewpoint bar from where you can see one of the most internationally renowned Cuban beaches within the tourist environment of Guardalavaca, in the municipality of Banes in Holguin.

Hernández Perdomo also explained that the hotel has a spa with four massage cabins, plus another for this service in pairs, as well as pools and jacuzzis for treatments of various diseases with thermal waters. It will also have a beauty salon equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

Also for the enjoyment of the little ones will have a water park with an attractive pirate ship adjacent to the children's club, where also adolescents will have game machines and internet.

The beaches of the tourist destination Holguín, located on the northeast coast of Cuba, constitute one of the richest natural settings in the country, internationally distinguished for its diversity among culture, nature and high levels of sustainability.

They are located a few kilometers away from the site where Admiral Christopher Columbus landed on the Island of Cuba on October 28, 1492, and are surrounded by a unique undulating topography and abundant coastal vegetation, which make them preferential sites on the north-eastern coast of the Greater Antilles.
