   Despite the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19, which has resulted in a decrease of international vacationers and the development of tourism worldwide, Cuba is consolidated as a safe destination for foreign visitors.

In this regard, the World Tourism Organization estimated that international tourist arrivals globally fell by between 58% and 78% by 2020 due to the pandemic.
