The Havana Club Rum Museum, located in Havana, reopened its doors to receive those interested in Cuban rum, under strict hygienic and sanitary measures that comply with the requirements of national and international health and tourism organizations.

To guarantee the health of visitors and workers, the tour will take place every 10 minutes to avoid crowds, always with a local guide and a maximum of 15 people per group, according to a press release published on the website of Havana Club International S.A.

Grethel Perdomo, head of the Commercial Department of the Havana Club Rum Museum, explained that the temperature will be taken from a distance for visitors and there will be hygiene stations with alcoholic solution for hand disinfection.

In addition, museum staff and visitors will be required to wear face shields and masks. To facilitate the process, all areas will have visible signs with the instructions to be followed.

Surfaces such as the bar and handrails in staircases, among other common areas, will be disinfected after each tour, he added.

The Museum of Rum will offer visitors a renovated facility, as pending repairs to the entrance, central courtyard, tour areas and bar were completed during the months of pandemic recess.

Those attending will be able to taste the pillars of the Havana Club Añejo 3 Años, Havana Club 7 Años and Havana Club Selección de Maestros brands; attend cocktail workshops, tastings with the high-end products and pairings with cigars.

The facility will be open from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm (local time), and the official Facebook account of Havana Club International S.A.

The Havana Club Rum Museum celebrated its 20th anniversary last March and its main markets include France, Germany, Korea, China and Japan. For those who can't make it to Havana, the virtual tour of the museum is available at https://virtualtour.havanaclubmuseum.com/, an interactive visit that allows you to navigate freely through the rooms of the building (ACN)
