vuelosrusia  The Moscow-Cayo Coco and Moscow-Santa Clara flights will begin to be carried  out twice a week, starting next November 1, according to Russian authorities.

This decision is based on the fact that Cuba has had less than 40 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 15 days and with one or less percent of the daily growth of infected people in the same period.

According to information provided from Moscow, airplanes from that country will begin to make two weekly flights to Cayo Coco and Santa Clara, in the central region of the Caribbean island.

At the end of last January, Russia became the second largest source of tourists to Cuba, and the number of visitors from the Eurasian nation grew by 30 percent.

After these growths, analysts considered that if such rhythms were maintained, it was very likely that in the future the Russian Federation would be among Cuba´s leading tourism markets; list topped by Canada and Western Europe so far. (ACN)
