Condor, Germany's most popular vacation airline, will begin with three weekly flights from Frankfurt and Düsseldorf to the Varadero resort on October 31, after the German Foreign Ministry lifted the travel advisory for Cuba.
As it appears on the official website of that company, the connections will be offered on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, just in time for the start of the winter flight schedule.
Tickets can be booked at www.condor.com in travel agencies and by phone, and tourist packages to Cuba through many tour operators in that country, the note says.
According to Ralf Teckentrup, Condor CEO, Germans want to feel comfortable on vacation, during travel, and at their destination, but also in times of COVID-19.
With Caribbean temperatures, excellent hotels and dream beaches to swim and relax, Cuba ticks all the boxes, he added.
The airline's note states that in the same way a large number of protection measures are implemented on board, but the experience remains unchanged for all passengers.
In addition, with the reduced Flex fare of 50 euros (roundtrip flight), Condor offers up to three free booking changes per flight, allowing special flexibility.
