The cafeteria services will be articulated on a digital platform, through the Wi-Fi network, to eliminate the use of stationery, which is part of the new attributes proposed by the Royalton Hicacos hotel in Varadero, facing the winter tourism season in Cuba.
Customers who arrive in this new normality will have free access to the hotel's Wi-Fi network, located in the privileged area of the Hicacos Peninsula, and in the bars and cafeterias of the facility, they will find a directory of services with a QR code to order whatever they please to consume.
Alberto J. Alonso, deputy general manager of the hotel, told the press that they took advantage of the downtime due to the global pandemic to carry out improvements in the hotel, such as the change of equipment and furniture in the lobby, the acquisition of new lights, Balinese beds around the pool and the restoration of water mirrors, among others.
The change of magnetic cards to enter the rooms for smart handles is also a novelty, Alonso reported, with a technological infrastructure that guarantees greater comfort to customers and prevents the loss or forgetting of cards.
With 7.4 hectares of extension, this is one of the most spacious hotels in the spa city, which always exhibits high levels of occupancy and expects to have the usual level of repetition this season.
Without having to regret infections caused by the SARS Cov-2 coronavirus, and with an experienced staff, which is reflected in the quality of services, the Royalton Hicacos hotel, winner of numerous national and foreign awards, faces the new season without accumulated losses and with novel proposals.
