According to the results of the survey, to Canadians, Cuba was the one that received the most votes, followed by the Dominican Republic, the Turks and Caicos Islands, the Bahamas, Barbados, Jamaica, Aruba, Saint Lucia, St. Martin and Curaçao.
With 30 million members in the world, Travelzoo recognizes that the Caribbean must prepare for the return of tourists from the United States and Canada, who like the benefits of the region's beaches, especially after several months of confinement due to to the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus.
The poll applied by that platform to the members who travel the most revealed that the reason for the preference for the Caribbean lies in the capacity of the destinations in the area to provide timely and accurate information on travel restrictions, as well as cleaning and disinfection guidelines.
