The destination Jardines del Rey, north of Ciego de Avila, restarted in August the tourist operations corresponding to the post-COVID-19 stage, with the arrival of the first visitors from Nassau, Bahamas, who were received according to the safety and protection protocols established for the moment.

The Pullman Hotel in Cayo Coco, which belongs to the French chain Accor Hotels, welcomes vacationers under the implementation of strict sanitary measures to ensure their safety and that of their workers, and the certification of its facilities with the condition of More Hygienic and Safe Tourism.

Iyolexis Correa Lorenzo, delegate of the Ministry of Tourism in Ciego de Avila, explained to the press that the accreditation process included the training of the hundred percent of the workers, the evaluation by means of exams and the supervision of the health authorities and the organization to certify that the protocols are applied and valid.

Hotel managers stated that all the premises have the conditions to ensure physical distance, hand disinfection and means to inform and guide visitors on the behavior to follow, while workers know how to act in case of a case with respiratory symptoms.

With an all-inclusive system, the Pullman Cayo Coco hotel complex provides guests with a variety of bars and restaurants, seven swimming pools, spas, children's club, sports facilities and a gymnasium that facilitate recreation and leisure without having to leave the facility.

The Jardines del Rey destination also already has the Melia, Cayo Coco and Playa Paraiso hotels, certified with the most hygienic and safe tourism condition, while by September all the accommodations and extrahotel facilities will be accredited. (By Magaly Zamora, ACN)
