New air sports and nautical options add to the sun and beach product in Cayo Largo, a destination with sanitary security, Lazaro Guzman, delegate of the Ministry of Tourism at Cuba´s Los Canarreos archipelago, told ACN.

He explained that at Paraíso and Sirena - two of the three Cuban beaches chosen among the best in the world in 2017 by the National Geographic science magazine - foreign vacationers will be able to access the activities on jet skis, skis and kayak offered by the Marlin Marina.

The offers also include visits to the Alcatraz, Iguana and Rico keys to appreciate the marine fauna and as novelty it is the boat adventure through the channels of the islets, Guzman said.

He added that the aviation club presented a project that involves the Gran Caribe hotel group, Transtur and the Marlin Marina for the enjoyment of paragliding flights (pulled by boat), and the tandem jump, the latter is a variation of conventional skydiving in which an apprentice jumps alongside the instructor linked by a double harness system.

Annioleydis Hernandez, main specialist in the field, said that the Vilo Acuña international airport is already certified by the health authorities, it has signs on the floor for the physical distancing of passengers, places where they must transit and propaganda for strict compliance with hygienic-sanitary measures.
